Cookies and local storage

Version of 2026-10-20

In short

The Climb, published by The Tech Nation S.L., stores a few items in your browser: cookies and local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage). They are used to log you in, keep your preferences, run the application, the demo and the Yeti space, and know which partner link brought you here.

  • No advertising, no advertising cookies.
  • No audience measurement tool, neither ours nor a third party's.
  • No social media pixel or tracker.

Fonts are hosted on our own servers: no page contacts Google to display them. Some third-party content (Google calendar, videos) can be displayed inside The Climb, only when you click on it. It is described below.

How to read the names

In the logged-in application, most items have a name that starts with climb6: followed by two internal identifiers (your company and your account), then the item's name. For example climb6:<company>:<account>:me. Outside the logged-in application, the name simply starts with climb6:.

Important on a shared device: logging out does not clear local storage. Clear the site's data in your browser if you use a shared computer.

These items are used for our sales tracking: knowing which Yeti or campaign brought you, so that we pay our partners correctly. They are not passed to any third party.

If you arrive through a Yeti's link, a banner asks whether we may remember it for 90 days on this device. Without your consent, the Yeti's code is only kept while the tab is open, and nothing is kept on the device. "Refuse" is as easy as "Accept", and you can change your mind by clearing the site data.

Third-party content

  • Google Calendar. The booking link opens Google Calendar. In the catalogue, the calendar can be displayed inside the page when you click on it: Google then receives your IP address and may use its own cookies.
  • YouTube and Vimeo videos. The sales kit in the Yeti space can contain an embedded video. YouTube videos go through the youtube-nocookie.com domain. It only loads if you click to play it: the platform then receives your IP address and applies its own policy.
  • Payment. Payment happens on Stripe's page (stripe.com), which uses its own cookies, in particular against fraud.
  • LinkedIn. The LinkedIn button on a certificate is a plain link: nothing is sent to LinkedIn until you click.

Your choices

You can clear these items at any time in your browser settings (site data). Without the login cookies you cannot stay logged in; without local storage you lose your preferences and screen state on this device.
